1949 TRIUMPH ROADSTER

This Triumph roadster was purchased new in 1949 by mr Cary for £1000 .
He was meticulous in documenting the cars History .
I have the original purchase receipt ,buff log book ,fuel rationing book ,every maintenance receipt from new ,Handbooks ,original tool kit owners Drivers licence and even his leather travel suitcase complete with spares .
Every gallon of fuel used ,every journey and every mile covered was recorded .
He completed no fewer than 20 trips to the continent including Istanbul and many to Switzerland to visit his wife’s family each trip is documented nearly turn by turn (how interesting it would be to recreate these trips ).
I doubt there is many cars with a history of this magnitude .
provenience is something can’t buy !!!
